Climbing is more than just going up. This class will introduce you to the fantastic world of indoor climbing and will show you how to get the most out of your climbing experience. You'll learn about fun games like "Add On," "Eliminator," and "DAB." You'll also get the 101 on basic climbing technique.

The Goat Fort is excited to announce our 10th annual climbing league! Keep the frost off this winter; make a little time for friends, fitness and fun; and join us for 8 weeks of climbing from January 7th to March 1st.

Basics:

• This is for everyone! There are no age restrictions.
• We encourage participants of ALL levels of climbing.
• Teams of two (mixed ages and abilities? … Better yet!)
• Your week-to-week scores will determine your level for finals, so it doesn’t matter how “good” you and your teammate are.
• Each week climbers will score on a specific set of boulders.
• Scoring will be a numeric variation of the modified redpoint format.
• You can climb any night Tuesday-Friday, but must climb with your partner.
• There is no official “league night,” except for finals! You'll want to be available for that.
• Your league session must be your 1st session of the week, and only one night.
• You may not practice one night and score on another.
• You may not combine your best scores from multiple days.
• Scores must be submitted by EOD on Friday.

Cost:

• Members: $40 (increases to $60 on Dec 23rd)
• Guests: $90 (increases to $130 on Dec 23rd)
