In addition to bouldering on your own, we have classes to help you improve your skills, meet other climbers, and have more fun by getting the most out of your climbing experience.

Climbing is a Sport!
Did you know that climbing is in the 2021 Olympic Games! Competitive climbing is on the rise, and more and more kids have the opportunity to try this new sport. This class introduces young climbers to the world of competition climbing on the local, national, and international levels. Students will learn about the different climbing disciplines (sport, speed, and bouldering), types of competions, and how each work.

PA Wilds Outdoor Exploration Series
Rock Climbing and the Outdoor Recreation Industry
This course geared toward high school students interested in working in the region’s growing outdoor recreation industry, and learning about local health, safety, and wellness through a hands-on experience. In addition to an overview of the region’s outdoor recreation industry, students will learn basic rock climbing skills. Topics will include proper utilization of an indoor climbing facility, climbing safety, effective climbing techniques, wellness and recreation activities, and a general history of rock climbing.

Climbing is more than just going up. This class will introduce you to the fantastic world of indoor climbing and will show you how to get the most out of your climbing experience. You'll learn about fun games like "Add On," "Eliminator," and "Dab." You'll also get the 101 on basic climbing technique.
